Deeeeelicious!

I made these a while back and was sad because I thought I had lost the recipe, But I found it and I am happy to share with all of you!

                 Cinnamon Biscuit Fans
1/3 cup firm butter
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
about 3/4 cup milk
3 tablespoons butter softened
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tsp.  ground cinnamon

Glaze:
1/2 cup powder sugar
2 1/2 tsp. milk

1. Heat oven to 425, Grease 8 muffin cups
2. Cut 1/3 c butter into flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, the baking powder, ad salt in large bowl. Using a pastry blender or crisscrossing 2 knives until mixture resembles fine crumbs.  Stir in just enough milk so dough leaves side of bowl  and forms a ball.
3. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface.  Knead 10 times.  Roll into a rectangle 12 by 10 inches.  Spread 3 tablespoons of softened butter over rectangle.  Mix 3 tablespoons of sugar and the cinnamon: sprinkle over rectangle.  Cut rectangle crosswise into 6 strips. 10 by 2 inches.  Stack strips cut crosswise into 8 pieces place cut side up in muffin cups.
4. Bake 16 to 18 minutes immediately remove from pan. drizzle glaze over warm biscuits.

(this recipe only makes 8 muffins if your family loves muffins as much as I, I suggest doubling the recipe.)

New Bed and Random pictures

When we got home from Utah Grant decided he was finished sleeping in a crib, since he hadn't slept in one for 2 weeks while we were gone.  So we decided to get the boys bunk beds and they love them so much!  Jackson gets the top and he says it is "just like sleeping in a treehouse!" Grant gets the bottom.  The first night he fell off I kept wondering how this little guy gets this full size bed to himself how on earth does he manage to fall off... He hasn't since.
We had such a warm week last week that we were able to go to the beach 3 times!  We had a blast, every time we went there were dolphins and one time they were jumping way way high out of the water! I love it here!!!

Oh and by the way.....
we are expecting a new little one in July

I use to wonder

Why on earth people paid these outrageous prices to live here, now I know.  Who else in the middle of January gets to go to the beach on a whim.  I love the weather here it is absolutely amazing, you just might have to pry me away from this state!

Back to the real life

We have been home for  3 and  a half days, why is it that I am already feeling overwhelmed?  I don't know maybe it is the....

1. Endless amount of laundry
2. The endless dishes (especially since we don't have a dishwasher)
3. Screaming children
4. The concussion Grant gave himself yesterday that scared me silly and left me exhausted from the worry
5. The poopy diapers Grant keeps taking off... himself (yes it is very messy)
6. Fixing dinner
7. Trying to entertain the kids
8. The guilt of trying to work on New Years goals
9. The spring cleaning
10.and Somehow trying to find time for myself so I don't go absolutely insane
oh ya and mom I really need you to come clean out my gross fridge that I have neglected for longer than I should have:)
