Happy Birthday To ME

I turned 25 on the 16th for those of you who know me I would much rather be turning 30, I think more exciting things happen when you are 30 so 25......... no big deal. My friend Katie made me a yummy birthday dinner and the yummiest ice cream cake I have ever had!!!! Thanks Katie!!!

Santa Clause is coming to town!

Grant loved Santa and gave him a great big smile (even though he wasn't feeling good)

Santa Clause came to Jackson's pre school class, he was so excited and could not figure out how Santa knew that he wanted a "Gspider man shooter thing."

It's a good thing they're cute!

so this past week this is what Grant looked like for a week straight, he was teething and was not happy! its a good thing he is so cute, even when he cries.

peek a boo bags

For those of you who don't know a friend of mine and I started a toy company about 2 1/2 years back. These pictures are of our very first shipment of 9000 bags from China.... What an exciting day!!! They are now in over 100 stores worldwide and also in 7 major airports. There has been a number of blogs and press releases written about them. We would have never believed it would have gotten this big 2 1/2 years ago when we were sewing 300 of them in my little Condo.
It is so fun to watch it grow it truly is one of our babies.

Discovery

Hey everyone yesterday I was getting bugged by all the spots on the carpet and I didn't want to run to the store just for carpet cleaner so I thought I would try a baby wipe... It worked great!!! I guess I don't need to invest in some carpet cleaner after all.

Tub Time

this is the boys first bath together. They were so cute in the tub Grant is such a crazy man and Jackson just laughs his head off at him. Seeing your kids play so cute together makes motherhood well worth it.

Snowman

We went to New Mexico for Thanksgiving this year and since we don't get snow in LA this is about the only snow we will see this year. ( Jackson was so proud)

New Car!!!

Ben surprised me with this car the day before we drove to Hollywood it was much more fun than driving the old Maxima.

my very own salon

Ben and I built a salon in the garage here it actually turned out really nice and it gives me a little break from the kids. I have some clients from the ward here and a few that Ben has sent me from Toyota.

Jackson's got a girlfriend

this is Jackson and my good friend Katie's daughter, Jolie (Jackson says she is his girlfriend. She is one of the cutest girls I have ever seen)

this is Grant in his cute little winter hat (not that we really need it here) I just thought it was so cute

Hollywood

Ben's Brother is visiting us from Texas, he just got home from his mission in Brazil.
The other day we wanted to go to this place called The Grove so we started driving downtown in Los Angeles and could not find it anywhere. So I called my friend Katie to see if she knew where it was and apparently we weren't anywhere close to it- oh well it was really fun to see downtown and to see if we could find our way home. (we did and it was so easy) anyway so today we ventured off to see the walk of fame with all the stars down the sidewalk in Hollywood it was so neat to see the Hollywood sign on the mountain and it was also very fun to drive in the hollywood hills and see all the amazing houses. So I decided that although hollywood was fun to see and I was very star struck it was really dirty and there were lots of strange people in one area. We saw a midget, a guy without legs, a crazy Korean lady (literally crazy) and some famous people who I didn't know. It was really crazy to see all these people from different walks of life all on one street. you know the saying that it is always fun to go see things but it always feels good to come home. it has been so fun to live here and see many different amazing things but at the end of the day there is nothing better than coming home.
