I did it and it feels GREAT!!!

I am going grocery shopping green!!! I bought these reusable grocery bags today, and I must say I felt really good about "doing my part"  I would like to encourage all of you to do the same, plus they are so much easier to put groceries in then the plastic ones that tear real easy, and they have a long handle so you can carry more groceries in at a time. (I have to park far away from my house and I only like to make one trip)

Hats

Ben brought Jackson home a hat he got at work, and Jackson has been in love with it ever since and then Grant had to join in the hat fun.

We went to the beach today, and had a blast.  We went with Katie and her 2 cute girls, Jackson and Grant have so much fun with them and we are so greatful to have wonderful friends here. I am also very greatful for the beach which is a nice outing when we have a day that we just need to get out and go somewhere, we always have fun and the boys are starting to love the water:)

obsessed

I am a little obsessed, Grant is at such a fun cute age, I just can't help myself.

I love...

                                                                    Those Blue eyes!

                                                                    and those sweet lips,
                                                                      isn't he precious!!!

NO DIAPER, WHAT??

Apparently I am playing catch up with my posts, there were a lot more pictures on my camera than I thought.
I took Grants clothes off the other day because they were dirty plus it was hot!  I went in my room to do something, when I came back this is what I found... Grant learned how to take his diaper off and was running around like a crazy man!  Of course I couldn't resist taking a picture, of this cute little behind. (and yes that is his diaper in his hands)

sleeping babies

One of the sweetest things in my book is sleeping babies!!! I snuck in and snapped this shot of Grant, I thought it was so cute that he found a pillow and put it in his crib then fell asleep on it.

So we went to the park...

So like I said in my last post it has been so very hot, so we headed to the park to get cooled off in the nice breeze, We had so much fun and than we came home and had homemade chocolate milkshakes!

This is Grant holding (Gary) the snail he was so cute and was not afraid to touch this slimy snail, Jackson was a little weary of it of course.
Me enjoying the cool air and of course watching the boys have so much fun, I love to just sit and watch them play together they are so cute!!!

and of course we had to have the random break down, I thought it was so funny that we were having so much fun and then both of the boys started to cry:(

Here they are together, aren't they sweet!

Sorry I am so boring lately, we haven't really done anything exciting, it is so hot here and for some reason the builders in the beach cities think that no one needs air conditioning!  ITS HOT!!!

Good thing there is a beach down the street:)
Anyway sorry to take my frustrations out I will post soon!!!

A little WNBA anyone?

Ben won tickets at work for the WNBA game... I know I know not as exciting as a Lakers game but it was fun, they were box seats so we got to hang out with a bunch of people from his work.  It is so fun to see who Ben gets to see everyday when he leaves us for work.  Everyone was so nice and we had a great time.

We got to ride to the game in this sweet convertible it was so fun!!!!!! So here are some silly pics of the ride.

Go Dodgers!!!

Well we survived!!! We came home after 2 weeks of being gone and then Ben had to leave on a business trip the day we got back which was Tuesday until Friday so we didn't see him for almost 3 weeks!!!
One of our friends in the ward is an orthopedic surgeon for the pro teams here in LA So he always gets these really sweet tickets to games and they always have such great perks, they are always right up front in the action.  So he gave us tickets to the Dodgers baseball game, and the seats were right on the field!  We really had to watch the game good so we didn't get hit with fly balls.  And the passes were also for free all you can eat food, this included ice cream and peanuts!  The boys had so much fun ( ok Jackson started having fun once I gave him my ipod to watch spongebob)  But all in all it was a great day to spend together after being apart for so long.

Far West

Ok so this place was so totally cool! Me and my dad pull up to the site and we see 6 men in black suits, I say to my dad "are they all missionaries?"  because one of them had a tag on my dad says ya I guess so.  So we take another look my dad says "oh my gosh, they aren't missionaries that is President Jeffery R. Holland!"  So we get out and say hello, Elder Holland was so sweet and we sat there just chatting.  He asked me my name and where I was from, then he asked my dad the same thing.  He and the men were about to leave when my dad asked if we could get a picture with him.  He said "Certainly, that is what we do"  So while my dad was walking in front of us to get set up, Elder Holland and I were walking and talking on this amazing temple ground.  He told me that this was his first time to Far West and he was out there doing a stake conference, and had a couple of extra minutes so they thought they would stop at Far West.  The coolest thing I think about this is that this site has actually been dedicated as a temple, so I thought it was so neat to think that I was walking with Elder Holland in a temple!
This was the icing on the cake for this trip.  I love the garden of Eden!

This bottom picture is of one of the corner stones they keep it in the case to preserve it, all four corners are represented as the important keys of the priesthood.  They have the hole thing fenced in so when you go in you treat it like you would if you were in the temple.
