Decisions

So for the past little while I feel like I have an infant, Grant has been waking up every 2-3 hours every night, I am not sure what to do so I thought maybe he was not really needing a nap during the day so he would sleep better at night, the last 2 days I have purposefully not put him down for a nap, by 3 o'clock both days this is what happened.

Apparently I was wrong with this decision, any ideas?

I love that he sleeps with a doll. Is he waking up scared?

We had this problem with Hunter a while back. I really think kids need naps during the day or they become over tired and don't sleep as well at night. I'd let Hunter nap but made sure he was up by three pm. Then I'd make sure he got some physical activity like running at the park or something a few hours before bedtime. We then stuck to a bedtime routine. It worked like a charm and he started and still does sleep through the night, well most nights anyway. You may have already tried all of this?? Either way, good luck!

Gunner has never been a good sleeper and I am STILL fighting this same issue. I know exactly how you feel, it is so frustrating.... so if ya find something that works please pass it my way :)

We are having the same issues with Victor, and it's not the most fun thing ever. I tried skipping his naps, and it did not help at all (swap the doll for Dog in that pic and you have our house)--he still didn't go to bed at night and he still got up every few hours. Have you tried a night light? That helped for a couple of days before he broke the night light.

When this happens with Zeke, I figure it's teething or growing pains and give him Tylenol.
