I use flickr, picnik, and picasso to edit my photos. Flickr and picnik are pretty much the same thing except you can save the photos you edit on picnik onto your computer or in photobucket. I use photobucket too. Picasso is what I use to do the mosaic type of photos. I saw that you called me today. We went to dinner and to the soloman center.
Photoshop is obviously the best (but really expensive unless you get some kind of hook up -- it's really complicated as well and there's a big learning curve). Probably for what you'd need it for though, I'd DEFINITELY go with Microsoft Digital Image Pro. It's software as opposed to some online photo editor, which in my opinion makes it a lot easier to use (because you don't have to worry about a slow site or a site crashing or doing repairs and stuff, etc). Hope that helps!
I use flickr to make online photo albums. I like them the best. I've tried Picassa and Photobucket...but I much prefer flickr.
Hope that helps!
Oh, I forgot to mention, if you want lots of multiple photo albums that are separated on flickr, it costs some money, so that may be something to consider. I still prefer it though. I opened my Photobucket account a looong time ago, and going back to look at it now, their site is really crazy and busy. I don't really like it, but it definitely has a lot of useful tags and codes.
I use Photoshop Elements. For the new one (version 6) it runs about $80 on amazon. It is awesome, it does have a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, you can do everything that you'd want.
photobucket is good if you up load your pics. you blog is so cute.
